7-year-old boy missing, found dead after hours in the washing machine in the home garage

After two hours of fruitless research, unfortunately the dramatic discovery arrived, Troy was lifeless in the washing machine and perhaps he never left the house.

A 7-year-old boy was found dead in his home garage washing machine after he suddenly disappeared into thin air from his home in Harris County, Texas, USA.

The tragedy last Thursday when, after hours of searching around the neighborhood, little Troy Khoeler was found lifeless in the top-loading washing machine. The baby’s mother sounded the alarm early in the day after returning from a night shift in the hospital.

According to an initial reconstruction, it was around four in the morning when the woman realized that her son was not in her room and woke up her husband who was at home. They tried to look for him throughout the house and even outside before calling the police who immediately launched a missing child alert and started the search.

After two hours of fruitless research, unfortunately the dramatic discovery arrived, Troy was lifeless in the washing machine and perhaps he never left the house.

Investigators have not revealed any information on the cause of the death of the child, who was adopted by the family in 2019, but the investigation continues. The washing machine was seized and taken away and the house examined by forensics.

“We don’t know what happened, but we intend to find out. If he was killed by the washing machine or killed and put in, we are so far from that, we can’t tell,” investigators explained.

Police only confirmed Troy was dressed when they found him, but gave no other details, such as whether there was water inside the washing machine or whether the lid was closed.

After the discovery of the body, his parents were taken away and interrogated for a long time by the police but so far no arrests or formal charges have been made. Neighbors said Troy had just moved into the house with his parents a couple of weeks ago.
