The association “Bill & Melinda Gates” could receive all the riches of the King of Microsoft, depriving him of his place in the ranking of the richest in the world
“Looking ahead, I plan to donate virtually all of my wealth to the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation,” said Microsoft founder Bill Gates. The will of the IT entrepreneur, however, as he himself stated, could risk making him come out of the ranking – captained by Tesla’s patron, Elon Musk – of the ten richest men in the world, in which the name Gates appears in the top five.
Every year the US magazine Forbes draws up the ranking of the richest men in the world. In April 2022, the latest Top Ten featured Tesla founder Elon Musk in first place. The South African entrepreneur has surpassed Amazon’s dad, Jeff Bezos, who has to settle for second place on the podium. In third position we find Bernard Arnault, owner of the luxury brand group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet-Hennessy).
A fifth place to remember – American philanthropist Bill Gates may really have to enjoy this moment: in the ranking of the richest men in the world, fifth place belongs to him. As the computer scientist says, however, the desire to donate all his assets “will make me go down and eventually get out of the ranking”. In the sixth, Warren Buffett, another US entrepreneur, defined “miracle of Ohama” for his great skills in the field of financial investments and his ability to predict possible losses and gains.
