Engine problems, Ford recalls 100,000 vehicles

In May, the auto company recalled more than 39,000 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator because they were in danger of catching fire under the hood even when parked or turned off.

Ford is recalling over 100,000 SUVs and trucks due to the risk of fire in the engine. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, cited by ABC, the automaker is recalling some of its Ford Escapes 2020-2022, Lincoln Corsairs 2021-2022 and Mavericks 2022.

In May, Ford recalled over 39,000 Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators because they were in danger of catching fire under the hood even when parked or turned off.

Last month, the company recalled 2.9 million vehicles with transmission problems. At the moment, Ford said, no injuries have been reported.
