The #instagramdown hashtag takes off on Twitter. Still problems for Instagram: the social platform goes haywire, as it already happened a few days ago. The downdetector.com site, which monitors network anomalies, reports a progressive increase in problem reports starting around 2 pm.
On Twitter, in particular, many users report the sudden suspension of the Instagram profile or the disappearance of the followers present until a few hours ago. As reported by the site smartworld.com, this is not the usual Instagram down: “Surely Instagram is implementing a practice of cleaning fake accounts, but it seems that this has also affected many legitimate users who had nothing to do with suspicious practices.
In fact, there are many reports from users who have found themselves blocked out of their Instagram account or with the account permanently banned.”
The site reports a warning: “Then be careful to make too many attempts to recover from the account. If it does not work, wait for the problem to be resolved, also because Instagram could block you for too many attempts”.
