The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, has been attacked by missiles from Russia, says the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, among those that were hit are two residential buildings in the central district, Pechersk. He said several Russian missiles had been successfully shot down, and that rescue teams were on the scene.
This attack is happening while world leaders have gathered in Bali, Indonesia at the G20 summit, or the group of the most industrialized countries, where they have condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told world leaders on November 15 via video link that “the time to end Russia’s war in Ukraine is now.”
