Russian gas cut in Germany, in Hanover public showers with cold water only

Of course, schools, hospitals, kindergartens and rest homes are exempt from the provision

In Germany, the city of Hanover has decided that only cold showers can be taken in swimming pools, gyms and other public spaces. The fountains will be closed instead. The goal is to save at least 15% of energy and better face the emergency that is hitting Germany due to the Russian gas cuts. Of course, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, retirement homes are exempt from the measures. Other German administrations are also preparing energy saving plans.

Berlin, for example, has decided to drastically cut the night lighting of its monuments.
