Speed of light, the animation is incredible

If we could circle the Earth at the speed of light, we would make 7.5 revolutions per second – basically 0.13 seconds per orbit! The video is creepy

If we could rotate around the Earth (near the surface) at the speed of light, or about 300,000 kilometers per second in a vacuum, we would complete 7.5 revolutions per second: basically 0.13 seconds per orbit! Time Machine

To reach the Moon, light takes just over a second (1.3 light seconds). In short, much less than the travel time of the Apollo missions, which took three days to reach our satellite. In a second, then, the voices of the astronauts arrived on Earth, converted into a radio signal. It then took another second to get an answer.

Well, even traveling at the speed of light it takes 3 minutes and two seconds to send a message to Mars (and another 3 minutes and two seconds to receive an answer!)

When our Planet and the Red Planet are at the minimum distance (a little less than 55 million km).

This also means that, when NASA engineers send a command from Earth to the rovers on Mars, it takes 6 minutes to see if and how the command was carried out (always in the best conditions of proximity).

For other bodies even further away, time inevitably changes and think that the closest star to Earth, Proxima Centauri, is about 4.23 light years away (it might seem short): light always traveling at 300,000 kilometers per second in the void it takes 4.23 years to reach us! This also means that we see the star as it was 4.23 years ago. The Universe is transformed into an extraordinary time machine that travels into the past!
