Ukrainian grain exports, agreement reached on routes. New Moscow-Kyiv meeting next week

“Significant steps” were made in today’s negotiations in Istanbul for the resumption of Ukrainian wheat exports: this is said by the authoritative voice of the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, quoted by TASS. While the Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, is postponing a new round of talks, to be held next week.

The negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on the question of grain blocked in the ports on the Black Sea are very difficult and not easy to solve. However, it is the news of this evening, Moscow and Kiev agree to create a coordination center in Istanbul in order to guarantee the safety of the grain export routes from Ukraine.

Minister Akar confirms this, as reported by Anadolu, the Turkish news agency, speaking of the meeting held today on the Bosphorus between military delegations from Kiev, Moscow, Ankara and UN representatives. “In the coming weeks, delegations from Ukraine and Russia will meet again in Turkey, all the details will be examined and the work done signed” added Defense owner Akar.
